Our Favorite Photography Spots

Not sure where to have your next photo shoot? No worries! We have some ideas for you. When it comes to family photo shoots, we highly recommend places with variety and color. Parks are easy to meet at & typically provide a range of different scenic options.
Of course there are other places as well if you want a different look & feel to your session, such as finding a nice place in the city of Buffalo or at another public area. It's important to choose a place you feel you identify with or fits what you are hoping to get out of your photography session.
Here are some of our favorites, as well as some from past clients.
ALBRIGHT-KNOX / DELAWARE PARK
Arguably one of the most known places in Buffalo, this area has countless different places to take amazing photos. Between the Albright-Knox museum, Hoyt Lake, the flower garden/wedding section and the park itself, you will not have a hard time finding something you love. It is also within walking distance from the Japanese Gardens, another beautiful (but smaller) place for photos.

GLEN FALLS PARK
Another very well known place in WNY, this park packs a ton of variety into a smaller space. Take some photos near the waterfall, up on the hills, or pick a bench near the beautiful ponds. After your photo session, take a trip to the fantastic Sweet Jenny's ice cream shop for a treat!

BUFFALO CANALSIDE
Known for its summer concerts and military history memorial, Buffalo canalside offers more urban and water scenery, with some greenery sprinkled in. I personally love taking photos around the small bridges & skating rink area, as well as all long the river. During the summer this area becomes very busy, so plan a photo shoot accordingly!

REINSTEIN NATURE PRESERVE
This is a personal favorite of mine. Bordering Stiglmeier Park in Depew, I did my first photo shoot here last year & fell in love with it. This park has trails that lead you through the wooded area, past its several man-made ponds. In the spring, there are thousands of blooming lily pads that cover several of the ponds. You may also encounter local beavers crossing the paths!

BUFFALO MURALS
Scattered throughout Buffalo are beautiful murals which give a wonderful backdrop for some unique photos. One of the more famous ones "Greetings From Buffalo" makes a perfect choice for greeting or save-the-date cards. KNOX FARMS
This well known park is a favorite place for local dog owners and hikers alike. With vast open fields leading to wooded areas, there are plenty of amazing places for photos. You can also join their family program to gain access to other select areas, such as Knox mansion, which is starting to host wedding shows as well.
