Rocket Lens Presents Purrfect Cafe and Gallery

Coffee. Cookies. Cats. Has there ever been a more "purrfect" combination?

Experience all three together and more at Purrfect Cafe and Gallery, 1507 Hertel Avenue, Buffalo. Rocket Lens Photography recently met up there with local model Falisha for photos and snuggles with some adorable, adoptable cats.

Purrfect Cafe and Gallery, Buffalo’s Original Cat Cafe, was founded on the idea of creating a place where people can gather for drinks and treats while enjoying the soothing company of adoptable cats. Owner Jessica Brandon was inspired to open the cafe in her hometown of Buffalo after visiting a cat cafe in Scotland.

The Cafe boasts an extensive menu including not only coffee, but also tea, espresso, smoothies, wine, specialty mixed drinks, and more. To complement their drinks, they also offer locally-sourced baked goods and pastries.

The Cafe also acts as a gallery for local artists, where visitors can browse and purchase handcrafted, one-of-a-kind artwork.

Apart from the Cafe is the Cat Lounge, where ten to fifteen cats are allowed to roam free, mingling with potential adopters. A few are permanent residents, but most are adoptable through local rescue Ten Lives Club. Falisha found a number of cozy nooks in which to curl up with a cat or a book, or both! There are also many cat toys available so you can play with your newfound friends!

Purrfect Cafe and Gallery is open to the public, but the Cat Lounge can only host a set number of visitors, so a reservation is strongly encouraged. A small entrance fee to the Cat Lounge helps with the care of the cats. To learn more or to make a reservation, visit their website: www.purrfectbuffalo.com
